green_trilobite wound up in emergency, and will be there for a few days. I really really have to get better at watching his diet and blood sugar levels. >:(

9pm update:
Good news - green_trilobite called me after work to let me know he'd been allowed to go home once they gave him a blood-sugar meter, a prescription, and a talking-to about looking after himself better. I will try to make sure he sticks to it this time.

Sort of ironically, this was this week's PI episode. Carl tends to have the opposite problem from grren_trilobite.

Don't hesitate to ask for any help you two might need: errands done while you're at work and so on. Does Andrew want any visitors?

Will ask him when I see him tonight - I'm at work during the day, so he might welcome the distration - otoh, he doesn't genrally like people to see him when he's not well.
