Almost Midnight
Dec. 31st, 2017 11:20 pmI feel as though I’ve seen more posts than in previous years from people musing about the limnality of December 26-30. Personally, I feel like having a week-and-a-half of holiday has been good for me, though I could have stood a bit more going out. We did have individuals over a few times, and Andrew went out once to the AGO with me; I posted some comments on Facebook about the displays (more about the display choices than the artworks themselves), and we had lunch in the Members’ Lounge because sometimes I do want to cosplay as upper-middle-class, and for some reason I abruptly asked him if I was a witch, and what to do about it if I was (he says I’m not.)
Expect we’ll be frozen in tomorrow as well, though I’ll probably do some kind of supply run. It will likely be cold on Tuesday when I go back to work, but January is the year’s equivalent of six a.m. — miserably cold and you don’t really want to be awake, but the fact that the sun’s coming up forces you to be at least a little optimistic.
