That's a fun story, and I did appreciate the touch of including an activity for the reader.

I'm also tempted, for a reason which will either be immediately obvious or entirely opaque, to pose the question: "Cahoot Macbeths?"

Tom Stoppard wrote a diptych of plays called "Dogg's Hamlet & Cahoot's Macbeth". There's not really any similarity in content between "Dogg's Hamlet" and your story, but I was struck by the similarity of the title.

It ended up not being much to do with the story, but “dog hamlets” were a genre of play starring a trained dog who identified and fought its master’s killer; I’ve always liked the phrase.
