A young man got on the Roncesvalles streetcar wearing a T-shirt with "Gone Fishing" on the back and on the front, a fuzzy silkscreen of some guys I thought at first might be Jesus and the apostles, in which case the slogan would be a rather clever joke. However, on closer inspection I decided they were probably a punk band (it was a very fuzzy picture). Briefly fantasized about how the world might be different if Jesus and the apostles had formed a punk band. Actually I think there are some Christian punk bands out there, I just can't think of their names.

I do recall that the Christian Punk band I heard of also had a gay lead singer, so their motto was something like, "If Jesus can save my nellie ass, imagine what he can do for you!" I like that, for some reason.
