Beatrice has been coming out of the library to play with Nana and explore. Fingers crossed for progress!

ETA— Andrew took a picture. You can see her face is flatter than Nana’s, though I don’t know if that’s her age or if it’s inherent.

Curiosity killed the cat!

One of the great things about cats is that, being half-way up the food chain, they are curious so that they can find things to eat but simultaneously cautious because other things are out to eat them. So instead of a good angel and an evil devil on their shoulders (good and evil not being of particular interest to cats) they have a cautious angel and a curious devil on them.
