Andrew and I had some kind of ‘flu in back in February; and he had a resurgence of symptoms last Friday, about a week after visiting out local clinic to get an earache checked out, so I stayed home with him. Now he’s mildly tight-chested and achy, but the thing is, he’s like that most of the time anyway, and he also stays home most of the time anyway, so I feel taking him out to get tested wouldn’t change anything either way except to tire him out and risk his exposure to other people.
I’ve been wondering if, despite being asymptomatic, I ought to present myself for testing as a proxy for Andrew, but a read-through of the Ontario health websites suggests they don’t want me to come in unless I’ve got symptoms, have recently been abroad, or live with someone who’s definitely infected, so I suspect the right call here is to hold off, frustrating as it feels to do nothing.

eye_of_a_cat recently put it.
