OK, so apparently there was this village in early-20th-century Hungary that had basically a club of female serial killers who just... got into the habit of poisoning any family members they were sick of?

Bold solution to life's problems, but if hubby was abusive and the parents were the ones who made her marry them, I support this.

I could sympathize with that, but it sounded like they were also poisoning husbands who’d come back disabled from WWI, unwanted children, etc. I suppose it’s likely this kind of thing used to happen everywhere, and it was just particularly egregious in small villages with no coroner.
