The mind is your battleground. It’s the place where the fiercest conflict resides. It’s where half the things you feared would happen, never actually happened. It’s where your expectations get the best of you, and you fall victim to your own train of thought time and time again.
What’s one thought that has been getting the best of you lately? How has it been influencing your behavior?

Hahahaha where do I start? I feel like the problem with these questions is that they’re assuming some kind of anxiety/OCD, where there’s like, *one* obsessive fear that I keep circling around.

I don’t think I have that. I feel more like I’m living in a box of whizzing marbles, or an unbelievably cluttered attic where I can never find anything because it’s under fifteen other thoughts and memories, and I could deal with the latter if I didn’t always feel rushed and like people were clucking their tongues at me for being so disorganized. I admire tidiness,I really do. I just can't seem to ever achieve it myself.

This speaks to me, particularly the me parenting a small child; I find regular B-12 supplements help me not scream at people about it, but accomplishing things is often a complex stacking puzzle where I constantly have to sort through the appropriate order to do things in between tasks, which takes more energy than doing any of the things that need doing.
