moon_custafer: ominous shape of Dr. Mabuse (curtain)
Forgive yourself for the bad decisions you made, for the times you lacked understanding, for the choices that hurt others and yourself. Forgive yourself, for being young and reckless. These are all vital lessons. And what matters most right now is your willingness to grow from them.

What specifically do you need to forgive yourself for? What have your error(s) in judgment taught you?

I had a whole entry worked out and I hit the wrong combination of buttons and erased my words. The nutshell version is that on the one hand, I sometimes feel I haven’t been reckless enough; and on the other, I feel as though any decision I make is constrained by circumstances, AND also has its effects flattened out in the long-term anyhow—that I’ve encountered very few life-and-death decisions that I’m aware of -- but then, how can I be certain of the chain of causality when I’m still living in it?

This is awfully timely -- thanks for posting the idea, anyway, though I'm sorry for the lost words.

Did you write the prompts?

Oh wow. Same. But I've never conceptualized it that way.

...I might follow along (at least in my private journal) if that's all right... they seem like good and also challenging prompts. Thanks for posting.
