—Usually I don’t let myself listen to YouTube videos on the bus until Wednesday, to try to avoid going over my data-plan limit and getting charged extra; but the man behind me was talking very loudly on his phone, and he kept excitedly telling his friend on the other end every time we passed a No Frills. It’s nice that he can take such pleasure in everyday things, but he was beginning to interrupt my train of thought.

—Do you ever read through an old article on a website, notice one of the comments underneath and think “YES! That person really gets it!” and then realize you're reading a comment you posted yourself five or six years ago?

—Approximately 800 words into my Yuletide fic, and that’s just setting up the initial situation, so I don’t think I’m going to have any trouble passing the minimum 1000-word length.

And I've never done that with articles, but I do it with fic. ("Amazing fic! How did I miss it before? Ah, I didn't...")
