Work Gripe, Concluded?

Lawyer CEO was in today — tried to decide if it was better to look for an opportunity to speak to him alone, or to work up the nerve to ask co-worker for a meeting between the three of us, and see how she’d react to that. Eventually went for the latter, and she cut me off with a brusque “It’s alright.” Don’t know whether that means she’s dropped the idea, or whether she’s going to do her own dirty work. Also don’t know if that means she didn’t want to discuss it with him, despite her claim it was management’s idea.
