Today in the grocery store the radio was playing a song called “Rock’n’roll Is King,” which seemed to be from the 1950s, but which I couldn’t recall ever having heard before.
I suppose many people have imagined a “Bottom of the Charts, 1957” list of fictional songs, along the lines of McSweeney’s “Names of Less Popular Bars,” but here are my contributions:
