The dress from the floral cotton print is well under way. This one's got a collar and pockets. Will attach the skirt tomorrow -- the zipper might have to wait until Tuesday when the stores re-open after the civic holiday.
Hoping we get some more warm weather before fall hits in earnest, but at least a print with a black background looks good in all seasons, and I can always wear a slip and leggings underneath for extra warmth.
ETA: The dress is nearly done. It needs a zipper, some more black thread (so I can stitch the last five inches or so of the hem) and possibly a belt buckle -- the glue on my home-made attempt at a fabric-covered buckle is currently drying, and I don't know yet if it will look good or awful, but the stores that sell zippers tend to also carry buckles, so I'm not too worried.
