Had a great time at Ad Astra yesterday -- I actually took notes on the presentations (Wrapping Sari, Fighting Women of Medieval Europe, and SF of the People's Republic of China) so I could look stuff up when I got home. I also won a couple of draws/contests, and I was given some vintage sewing patterns. I'm not sure i want to know what was spilled long ago on the face of the girl in the pink dress. Perhaps she's reaching out to possess the soul of the one in white.

*slaps desk* JEFFREY COMBS. I kept forgetting to mention - Jeffrey Combs is at Fan Expo this year along with Bruce Abbott & Barbara Crampton. A Re-Animator thing with the horror people. I just remember how you an' green_trilobite had met him before and had fond memories, wasn't sure if you'd heard or not. :D
