Testing images for Gemma's website, representing some of her stories from the collections Kissing Carrion and The Worm In Every Heart:

ideasketch for The Emperor's Old Bones. These temporary gifs were all made from clip art and pictures I already had on file, so please don't take them (at least not before Don has the chance to object to his right ear and shoulder being used without his permission.)

Animated gifs for Skeleton Bitch and Blood Makes Noise. Any comments, especially on the loading times, are appreciated.

Initial load-times were about a minute for my machine, but immediate after that (even after my modem was disconnected for a second or so in the middle). I really like "Skeleton Bitch" a lot; "Blood Makes Noise" is suitably murky, yet a bit *too* murky or subtle to completely go over, if you see what I mean. "The Emperor's" looks good right now, though I think it'd benefit from some sort of animation. All three would also benefit from some sort of text beyond the titles, because the .gif that I think works the absolute best thus far has to be the one you did for "Sent Down", which is perfect and gorgeous. (I also appreciate the one for "Kissing Carrion"...yeah, it's a bit funny, but in the right way, like you said.)

Utterly amazing to see them, though, I'll tell you that much. This is all so wonderful.;)
