me (reading a description of what Moxie tastes like, over on Making Light): So, this stuff is sort of like Buckley's mixed with soda water?

green_trilobite: It's not that bad. It's like... really strong Brio, or root beer.

me: But I bet you *could* mix Buckley's and soda-water, and there'd be somebody out there who'd like it.

green_trilobite: Not me.

me: OK, so I'll just go with my other plan of mixing absinthe and a Mountain Dew slushie. The caffeinated kind.

green_trilobite: ....

me: No, but see, the traditional way of drinking absinthe involves mixing it with cold water and sugar anyway, so....

green_trilobite: You are a crazy superhero nymph.
