More Sewing

My pattern for the McCall's Retro B5708 arrived today. This is a much more ambitious project than the walkaway dress; there's a zipper and gathers and stuff (still no sleeves, though - I have a vintage pattern on the way that will involve some short sleeves and an underslip). I'll probably get some wax-print fabric from the bins out front at Affordable Textiles in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
