Just realized that once again, Hina Matsuri has whizzed by without my noticing. Mind you, I guess that's understandable given that I'm not Japanese and don't have daughters.

This is the date that they cremate all of the dead dolls at the special Doll Shrine too. It will be a much bigger deal than usual this year: so many dolls made redundant in the tsunami......
