I suspect that these won't past muster (at least an Orthodox muster) due to something about you having to do something to light the menorah flame and while electrical lights count as flame automation doesn't count: hence the Sabbath automatic elevators. Always useful for remembering the correct lighting sequence though. There are a number of menorah street lights in my neighbourhood. I'll have to check and see if they're starting to get lit today. I know that the "Menorahmobile" bally-hoo truck was out!
