Didn't actually go to Layton's state funeral (green_trilobite doesn't deal well with crowds), and feel a bit confused and guilty, but we did watch some of it on tv, and I wore my orange top.

Why have I never heard of Martin Deschamps (singer) before? (Well, probably because he's from Quebec.) Awesome voice. green_trilobite, who was facing away from the tv screen, asked if it was Leonard Cohen.

Oh, my goodness...I just youtubed his "Peace, Reggae, Love" and damn, he can rock the eyebrows better than anyone I've ever seen. That song didn't bring the Cohen, but just listening to "Evoler" is making me agree totally, although I can't understand what he's saying :-(
