Was idly looking up Da Vinci and discovered the *second* result that pops up is Da Vinci Bridal; two concepts that I have to say have never collided for me.
...I can make cannon, mortars andstrapless gowns light ordnance, of very beautiful and useful shapes, quite different from those in common use.....
Perhaps it's a coincidence - will have to check the "history" portion of the site and see if the bridal wear company was started by some other Da Vinci.
ETA - It in fact seems to be owned by one Emma DaVinci of Texas. Interestingly, the site itself mainly seems concerned that consumers might confuse the chain with Dave's Bridal.
