Another co-worker claims to have heard a radio story about anime fans swarming the premier and stealing his blackberry, but I can’t find anything online about it – was someone just pulling her leg?

ETA - More specifically, a group dressed as Spongebob and other characters are supposed to have swarmed a political convention being held downtown, stolen a blackberry and mailed various dignitaries photos of they genitalia. Continued to google, but found nothing even resembling this story – pretty sure at this point that some fool radio show host made it up of whole cloth, or else said “hey wouldn’t it be funny if?...”

Doesn't say anything about Spongebob, but I read about that yesterday. Apparently somebody stole the Blackberry and uploaded a shot to Twitter.....kinda brings to mind the question of how you'd accidently take a picture of your own junk and LEAVE IT ON THERE, but maybe he was a busy guy.

I assume if it was a stolen blackberry, the point was to leave it there (and hope that one had no identifying marks on that part of one’s body).

Just read the article, and it does seem odd that the PC party appears to have changed their explanation.

Yes. Lol. I just finished saying that, onky with a lot of inadvertant k-erasing. iPads are wonderful but staying on the home-row is tricky ^_^

When I read it yesterday the PC's were still sticking with the 'yeah, he totally took an accidental wang picture and then someone stole the blackberry' explanation.
I guess that's not the story they're using now.
It still seems a little weird...I mean (at least when first read about it) it was his own twitter feed the picture was posted to...I guess he left auto-fill on for all his passwords? Seems awfully careless for a politician.

Just once I want a story about a public figure and a communications leak to be all about how everyone was delighted by the email’s beautiful prose and noble sentiments, and mention it was already being nominated for a literary award.

"Leaked email suggests PC Candidate is poetic, sweetly sentimental"
.....I don't think there's a paper in the world that would actually run that story. Lol

This ain't that story, but misery loves company...

That should get the country's mind off the economy for a few minutes.

He probably just got drunk and tweeted his naughty bits, then backtracked.
