The vending machine at work is broken --

– insert any coin and it spits it back out like a cat spits out a pill. Mind you, I suppose I should be glad I do get my coin back, and that the machine doesn’t scratch me in the process. Still wish I had some chewing gum, though.

I always carry emergency hard candy & emergency gum.
Not 'cos I'm diabetic, or anything, just in case of coughing fits / bad breath when travelling long distances / sudden desperate gum-texture-cravings.
