I went over it in oils (mars black, titanium white, pthalo blue and raw sienna). Almost finished, but I can never leave well enough alone...

Yeah. but I'm still not sure about the face.

Hmm, now that you mention it, there *is* something a bit odd about the face. Something or other (to use the technical term) on the left side doesn't match the something or other on the right side. Maybe the shadows. Maybe the angle of the nose to the viewer doesn't match the angle of the eyes.
