Been watching the LotR movies (extended cuts) since last night. The story moves faster than I remember when you're watching it on dvd. Then again, as I told green_trilobite, I read Fellowship when I was about eight or nine, then had to wait two years before I got the other books, so I was as astonished as the characters when Gandalf came back, etc.
