Wedding Notes

Attended the wedding of two dear friends on Saturday. It was good, although it left me grateful that we're only having about 35-40 people to ours - 100-odd guests can be overwhelming, particularly when at least a quarter of them make speeches.

Also - the "bride and groom's first dance" is kind of a strange ritual - the happy couple, with eyes for only each other, trying to act as though they're completely unaware of the large crowd watching them tearfully and snapping pictures.

What was the song everyone was tearfully listening to as the happy couple danced away? And were there any, uh, odd songs after it? (BTW, I just added you to my slowly-growing friends list. Hello!)
