Why we didn't run into you at Word on the Street

So as some of you know, green_trilobite’s balance has been worse than usual of late, and last Saturday he started complaining of double vision, so Sunday morning I put my foot down and took him to emergency – note to any Americans reading this – if a fortysomething patient gets brought in with these symptoms there’s no waiting; thank you Canadian healthcare system. OTOH, the looked-rather-amusingly-like-a-tv-doctor resident couldn’t actually find anything on the tox screen or the ct scan, so we’re left with the knowledge that it’s probably nothing serious, we’re just not sure what. Will try lowering meds slightly.


In other news, watched Edward G. Robinson in The Red House, which was pretty atmospheric and probably deserves a remake, although they might need to add a few more plot twists for a modern audience
