This morning on my way to work I stopped at the tiny Tim Hortons counter upstairs at Pape station. It's a very small space, and line-ups, when they form, tend to curl inwards on themselves in a clockwise spiral. Today, however, the spiral was counterclockwise. Have the earths magnetic poles reversed themselves or something?

In retrospect, I think the explanation is that the first few people to line up all came in through the south door that connects with the outside, rather than the north door that connects with the station; but if it's that simple why haven't I seen it happen before this?
