Good News

green_trilobite's mom is up and about again, which bodes well for this September when she comes to live with us at the new place, knock on wood. We visited on Sunday and green_trilobite tracked down her cane for her again and made the staff write her name on it this time; he also got her to walk up to the floor desk, since the staff hadn't realized she was able to walk; with any luck they'll encourage her more now they know she can. I think the residents on walkers were jealous.

Also, I've been accepted into Speakeasy's Illustration show in September at the Gladstone Hotel, and I'm hoping to get green_trilobite into their show for the Contact photography festival.
