Last night, green_trilobite and I watched Superman Vs Atom-Man. Ah, old-school radioactive materials:
Government Guy: Oh no, the bad guys are waylaying our transports of radium!
Lois Lane : I could hide the radium in my purse.
Government Guy: Uh, OK.
Bad Guys (with Geiger counter): Hey, what have you got in that purse?
Me: Wait, they didn’t even give her a lead-lined box to carry it in?
Lois: Just my personal things.
Me: Just my set of uranium-glazed dinnerware.
Bad Guys: (attack Lois, take the radium, and later she somehow winds up locked in the safe back at the government office)
Superman: That’s ok, I’ll rip the door off.
Government Guy: No wait! If you do that it’ll set off the poison-gas deathtrap inside the safe!
Me: You’ve got a poison-gas safe, and you haven’t got a lead-lined box?!
Government Guy: Oh no, the bad guys are waylaying our transports of radium!
