green_trilobite and I had some librarians and board members from the Merril Collection, with their spouses, over on Saturday. I think it went well. It was the most grown-up party I've ever hosted. They brought us wine and flowers - I didn't have any vases large enough for the two bouquets, so the next day I took them apart in redistributed them in small containers. I like this arrangement especially:
