I haven't been updating as often as I used to, because my new workplace is very strict about not gong online for anything personal, and when I go online at home I'm usually too busy catching up on all the things I can't read from work to do any writing myself.
I gave up on Nuit Blanche because green_trilobite wasn't feeling up to it, and then Carter peed on the bedspread again for the first time in a few months and we spent the night trying to launder it and worrying we wouldn't be able to get it clean. Also it got on the best painting I ever did at OCAD, Sneaker Goddess, and I will have to throw it out, because you can't launder an oil painting. At least we have photos of the work.
I helped a tiny bit with Janet and Aaron's yard sale yesterday. Aaron found another cat this week, provisionally named 'Ted' but then he was abandoned in his carrier by some neglectful person and Aaron couldn't just leave him. He's a longhair but the fur on his body was all matted and had to be shaved off, so he's working the poodle look at the moment. Seems a good-tempered creature all things considered. My parents have just moved to this province. I wonder if they would like a cat.
