I'm working at the same place as Janet. It's kind of strange actually; officially we're writing up profiles of real-estate agents for a magazine that exists as a promotional tool for real-estate agents. Really we're also doing whatever odd jobs come up around the office. Being a small company, and paying strictly by the hour, they're sort of the opposite of my former workplace - they're pretty flexible about when we show up - their big fear is that we're going to rip them off by using too many suplies, so there are stingy little signs by the printer saying "not for personal use" (understandable) and a 1$ fine if you make more than one copy of anything. Of course there's no non-job telephoning, websurfing or email-checking allowed at all, so I'll be posting less frequently. Still, if I can hang on to it I can cover my grocery bills for the next while, and add copy-writing and interviewing to my resume.
