...and while I was composing that stellar rant, I totally forgot to give Peggy any supper. Even though I remembered to give her her evening pills. Some daughter-in-law I am. Admittedly she was either asleep or speaking to invisible people all evening, and she didn't ask about food till long after green_trilobite came home, but really - I'm the one who isn't senile, I have no excuse.
