Well, coping pretty well so far with the first day of mom-in-law being here. I took her down to the lobby for a while to meet Herman the Concierge and sit on the sofas by the big fireplace. I think she liked it. Too bad there weren't any people walking their dogs at the time.
I've been lured back on to SL by the sight of a "nude descending a staircase" avatar. I made myself a Leg Lamp avatar (like the lamp in the movie A Christmas Story). I had to change out of it when I went to the Dove freebie store, because among their rules (no weapons, no nudity etc) is a "no non-human avatars. Bit weird, although it kind of makes sense because they were giving away human-styled clothing.
