We move to our new place in two weeks time, so it's a little crazy here. green_trilobite has already packed about sixteen boxes just of action figures (and there are still more lying around). Last night we took some time off to go to angrykat's birthday party. The theme was "tacky shirts, and scotch." There was vegan haggis, which is a wrong thing, but it was duly piped in and adressed in the words of Robbie Burns. We autographed angrykat's body with magic markers. theengineer was there. I forget how it came up, but he told me about his Best Day of Highschool Ever -when, shortly before a Christmas break sometime in the 'eighties, he and his brother had solved everyone else's Rubik's Cubes. Although I was far from the oldest person there, it all felt strangely...collegiate. I suppose I've been feeling like a grown-up finally in the last few months, what with making plans to move to a condo and take care of green_trilobite's mom and everything. This was good, though, except for the one very loud guy who kept yelling things in the background like "...NIETSCHE WAS AN A***OLE!!!!!" Like I said, collegiate.
