I was tagged for this a while back but it took awhile to get Vox up and running.
1. I have a pencil point embedded in my left arm from a Baden-Powell related incident when I was seven (that is to say, I fell while wearing my Brownie uniform and impaled myself on the little pencil that hung from the belt).
2. Long ago, I took voice lessons from Sally Dibblee. However, I am not as talented as she is.
3. I have never been sure what colour to call my eyes; they're sort of blue-gray, but they have little yellow streaks radiating out of the pupils that make them look like tiny sunflowers.
4. (Ok, some of you do know this one) At another point in my non-operatic career, I helped Dora Rust-d'Eye in the Opera Atelier costume shop (aka her attic); I worked, in a small way, on the costumes for their productions of Don Giovanni and Orfeo.
5. I designed the pattern for the Knithulu you sometimes see here and there on the web. Ok, some of you probably knew that one too.
And now - I tag theengineer.
