Very little. My writing method seems to be to just start writing and posting chapters as soon as the premise reaches some kind of critical mass.
It's sort of a combination of "must scratch the itch in my head and I'll go mad if I have to wait for the entire plot to be complete" and "if I start, inertia might keep me going" (this only works sometimes, but it does seem to be more effective than trying to have the whole story ready ahead of time).
I think I'm going to have to post the opening chapter this weekend for the new story that's currently saddled with the working title "WWMBD?," just need to pin down a few more details (character and place names mainly). It looks like it's going to be a queer romance/romantic comedy, no supernatural elements unless some decide to crop up later.
