I have really seen him only in The Terror (2018), but he is stupidly shippable there, and I am not even a person who always sees it.
I just think that Goneril is also canonically into Edmund

the First Servant ends up stabbing him with a butter knife, which has got to hurt
I don't know how it was actually played, but the ordinariness of the butter knife makes it sound even more brave and impulsive, a person not normally possessed of weapons suddenly so outraged that they seize whatever's to hand. (I'll just watch this thing at some point. I like Anthony Hopkins.)
