I love Dress a Day's "pattern stories" (in which she imagines what the models on the envelopes of vintage sewing patterns are saying to each other.) Today's:
Blue: Well, I told her. But would she listen? No. I even offered to take her shopping for one.
Yellow: I know! You’ve been a saint. Nobody else would have taken as much trouble. I mean, it’s ridiculous for her not to believe we all have invisible couches.
Black: There! In the sky! It’s Superman!
In other sewing news, I agreed a while back to make Andrew some baggy checkered trousers so he can cosplay as the 2nd Doctor. I cut the pieces out last night, and today I put the front and the front pockets together. That's as far as I can go until I buy a zipper. I cut the parts out a bit hastily, though, so I doubt the checks will line up perfectly. Also, no interfacing! But then they're supposed to be wrinkly.
