Thanks for referencing what I guess is now "my" trope. When I think about mysticism and/or convents, the first thing that comes into my mind is always a book I've never read but that apparently had a great influence on my Mom, called I Jump Over the Wall by Monica Baldwin, who spent twenty-some years in a convent before realizing it wasn't for her.
In other news, insomnia really does suck, doesn't it? I don't know if I want to go back to bed, or just make coffee and get on with it.
