I made a dress today, after several weeks of planning it out in my head. I don't yet dare set in zippers, so I was going for a Claire McCardell-inspired "thing that pulls over your head and ties at the waist." A-line skirts are easy, but I need to work on fitting the bodice.
At some point I hope to get good enough to justify buying some really cool fabric off Spoonflower (or possibly designing my own fabric).
