Every so often someone will gripe that deliberately shrinking wool in the wash is fulling, not felting -- but if you say "fulling," you confuse the few people who aren't already confused by "felting."

Ran it through again and don’t dare make it any smaller. I cut a wedge from a coaster to use as decoration (http://www.flickr.com/photos/22411134@N08/5723317875/in/photostream) - currently trying to paint the wedge to look metallic.
