I love those old washing machine ads: or just any weird old ads. I'm going through my pile of old Playboys to decide which ones to keep in the current downsizing and they're chock full of them. "Record your own music off the radio or your record collection with this great 8-track tape recorder!" "With the new, 60 minute cassette tapes you'll never have to thread an audio tape again!"
