Y’know, Tintin is supposed to be a reporter, but I don’t think Herge ever actually showed him calling his editor or filing a story. OTOH, I’m willing to believe these things took place offscreen. What’s recently occurred to me, though, is this – given his tendency to become heavily involved in a story, is Tintin a Gonzo journalist?
