Trying to work up PI's next episode - I've reached a break in my advance plotting and have to figure out a bridge to the next plot development a few weeks from now.
Stuff I need to write: Talk more about the squids, show the Chips again and establish the existence of at least one tranq gun. Sid and Patrick finally have a tiff about their relationship (and possibly the sleeping-with-the-enemy aspect of their working for organizations with different aims). Carl starts co-operating, and possibly
interacts with the rest of the crew a bit more; also, another of his on-line confessions.
Other: Start building up a library of images/designs to use for when they finally revisit the surface.
Research/Handwaving: graffiti in Portuguese; ships and oil-rig designs; papermaking; what sort of samples one might take from sealife; Angola.
