*laughs* Yeah. I do understand the temptation to go off on people in a manner which is diffuse enough not to alienate anyone; I keep drafting these long rants about health-care reform, which all basically amount to declaring that I'm not going to break bread any more with people who oppose universal health-care.
But sure enough if I posted that I'd find that someone I otherwise quite like and respect has some bug up their butt and favours some surreal "grassroots" solution involving non-profit co-ops where everyone will be able to invest in 1/100,000th of a magic health-giving pony, which they will take much better care of because they own it, and people only take care of things they... oh God I can't even fucking finish this sentence.
Um, could I maybe use your "I just hate things that don't make sense" icon, sometime?
