Thursday Report

I’ve got a two-month temp job that starts Monday, which (I hope) will keep us afloat for a while while I look for something permanent. It’s a 4:30pm-midnight shift, which… well, Andrew’s not thrilled about that, but I figure at this time of year I’d be coming home in darkness anyhow, and it’s not as though there’s a bustling social life I’m giving up.

Also, if I’m home and awake during the late morning/early afternoon, I can take interviews for other jobs.

In the meantime I’m trying to move my sleep schedule forward. We had our booster shots yesterday, so Andrew’s got a sore arm and I’m feeling tired and achy. I hope it’ll wear off towards evening so I can try staying up late.

Heaven only knows what the cats think of all this.
