Adventures In Online Grocery Shopping
Dec. 5th, 2019 09:04 pm I’ve taken to having cat litter delivered using Instacart.ca, because a box of litter large enough to be useful is too much to lug on the bus /streetcar. However, the price of a No Name club pack of cat litter is just under the minimum they expect you to spend, so I always order one other grocery item— toilet paper in the club-pack size is good, because it’s also unwieldy to take on the TTC; but I currently have plenty of it in the apartment, so today I ordered a can of tuna to make up the difference.
Apparently my local No Frills was completely out of litter, so they just sent out the remainder of the order. I’m now trying to imaging the person making the delivery as they wonder why someone would pay to have one single can of tuna delivered to their building.
