I hate making mistakes at work. And I really hate making mistakes in front of my co-workers. And I especially hate making mistakes in front of that co-worker who talks to me in stern-mommy-voice anyway, because it gives her reason to do so. That last bit happened several times today, even though in retrospect some of them weren’t me being stupid, but her asking questions like “why is b more than a?” when it finally turned out, after several attempts on my part to answer this, that what she *really* wanted to know was “Why can’t I find b on this website?”
